Geeko is proud to announce,its new geeko range.
The Geeko range is currently in production, and will launch in June 2012. It will include a unit aimed at the professional user and one targeted and the home and educational markets.
The entry-level unit will retail for under R2000, while the business-focused unit will come in at under R3000.
The seven-inch unit will come with the Android 2.3 operating system, while the 10-inch unit will boast the Android 4.0 Ice-cream sandwich operating system. “We have also ensured that the units come with the capacitive touch feature, which is what the market is demanding,” said Mahomed.
The business unit would also come standard with Wi-Fi and 3G, and include high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) and USB ports.
“The tablet market is growing exponentially and will continue to do so for some time. More and more business users are moving away from laptops to tablet PCs, and the home entertainment market is on the increase.
